Place a weight on the sled and sprint; the sled is designed to
slide smoothly and with precision behind you.

Resisted speed strength training is a recognised method for improving
acceleration and the power you need to break through tackles. Add
a weight to the sled that is approximately 10% of your bodyweight
and pull over distances ranging from 5-40m for speed strength training.
Allow a 4 minute rest period between sprints to allow for complete
recovery.
Pair each resisted sprint with
an
un-resisted sprint
For fuel mix conditioning, tow the weight over a greater distance
i.e. 80m and reduce your recovery time.
