Description    
Touch Rugby
Classification    
Special endurance, team attack and defence
Equipment    
Rugby ball and referee
Instructions
   
Select two equal sided teams. Standard rules are 4 touches before turnover, once touched place ball between legs and continue play. No kicking.
Key Points
   
Encourage communication, angles of running and defensive lines.
Progressions
   
Larger area. Scoring team keep the ball and continue playing in the other direction following a try. Off load ball once touched i.e. as opposed to putting ball through legs.
Sets and reps
   
Play for 12 minutes then have a 3 minute break to facilitate high intensity.
